Yamamoto YR-02 headshell cable

When choosing the material for the Yamamoto YR-02 headshell cables, the Japanese company chose ten individual 6N copper wires, each 0.26 square millimeters in size. This results in a high overall cross-section of 0.5 square millimeters. This particularly thick wire structure reduces resistance, which means electrical losses are kept to a minimum.
To reduce external influences, the cables are insulated with Teflon.
Yamamoto uses the YR-02 cable as an upgrade on the "HS-X S" versions of their headshells.
The cables are also soldered to gold-plated brass terminals to ensure optimal conductivity. To ensure the best possible fit of the cables, terminals of different sizes are mounted on both sides. The cables are pre-bent in a U-shape to ensure easy and safe installation. Also to constantly apply light pressure to the terminals to ensure an optimal fit.
Note: Please note the different connection diameters of the headshell cables. Use the narrower cable lugs of the headshell cables (D: 1mm) for mounting on the headshell and the wider cable lugs (D: 1.2mm) for mounting on the pickup.
